How to find key blanks for your automobile.

Automobile keys are one of the easiest to look up, and most requested.  Ilco makes it easy by having a user friendly reference manual which can be viewed here.  Looking up keys is as simple as looking up your make, model, and year.  Depending on your vehicle type, you may see more than one application or "Restricted Dealer Key" where the  Ilco/EZ part number should be.  More on this can be read in our Commonly Asked Questions found below.

Please note if your key says "Restricted", it may be available through another source.  Shoot us an email with year, make, and model and we'll see if it's available through someone else.

Commonly Asked Questions.

My car key has a transponder in it.  Do I have to buy a key with a transponder in it?
Yes.  This page was created to educate you on "Chip Keys" commonly found in todays vehicles.

It says my key is restricted.  What does that mean?
It could mean a couple of things, such as, Ilco doesn't make it, information wasn't available at time of publication, or it is a dealer item only.  Forward year, make, and model via email, and we will check our other sources.  We carry many OEM Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Lexus, Toyota and others that don't show up in Ilco's reference.

I have a key with numbers and/or letters on it.  No search results were found when I put this into the Advanced Search Box.  What do I do?
You may have a key that is not yet online, or what you inserted is a code.  Forward anything and everything that is on your key via email, along with year, make, and model and we will reply with possible blanks.

I looked up my car in Ilco's catalog and got two different part numbers.
One instance are cars offering a valet system.
A valet key usually fits the door(s) and ignition only.  It usually does NOT fit the glove box and trunk.  A master key (All) fits all locks on the car, if that's the way your manufacturer set it up.  Another instance is a vehicle that offers both a user programmable key and one that is non user programmable.  Example: Toyota's TOY43AT4 (programmable) and TOY43-EK2 (Non programmable)  If uncertain, please call us at 856 218-4642.

My car is calling for two different blanks.  In the notes section, it says "Transponder is Buyer Option".  What does that mean?
Most economical models offered this as an upgrade.  If you've tried getting this key duplicated locally and it operates your car locks but does not start your car, more than likely, your car has transponder technology.
